Is Temp Mail Safe?

What Mail.td does to protect you

  • No personal data required. You don't need to provide your name, phone number, or real email address to use Mail.td.
  • Password encryption. Passwords are encrypted in your browser before being uploaded. The server never sees your plaintext password.
  • TLS encryption. All connections between your browser and Mail.td are encrypted.
  • Automatic deletion. Emails are permanently deleted after up to 7 days. Nothing is archived or retained.

What to keep in mind

  • Temp mail is not end-to-end encrypted. Emails transit through normal mail infrastructure.
  • Don't use temp mail for anything sensitive — bank accounts, government services, or accounts that hold personal or financial data.
  • Temp mail addresses are public-facing. Anyone who knows your address can send you email.
