Can I Access My Inbox from Any Device?

Yes. Mail.td inboxes are cross-device by design.

When you create a temp mail address, you set a password. That password lets you log back into the same inbox from any browser or device — desktop, phone, or tablet.

How to access your inbox from another device

  1. Go to mail.td
  2. Enter your temp mail address and password
  3. Your inbox opens with all your emails intact

Password security

Passwords are encrypted in your browser before being uploaded. The server never sees your plaintext password. All connections are TLS-encrypted.

Frequently asked questions

How do I log back into a temp mailbox?

Go to mail.td and use "Sign in to mailbox." Enter the email address and the password you set when creating it. Every mailbox is password-protected, so the same password lets you sign in from any device.

Can I access the same inbox on phone and desktop at the same time?

Yes. The inbox stays in sync — new emails appear on both devices in real time over the WebSocket connection.

I forgot my mailbox password. Can I reset it?

Free mailboxes don't have email-based password reset (no recovery email is collected). If you've lost the password, the mailbox isn't accessible — create a new one. Pro accounts have full account recovery.

Is the password stored on Mail.td servers?

Only as a hash. Your password is processed in your browser before being sent, so the plaintext never reaches the server.

Can I share a temp mailbox with someone else?

Yes — share the address and password, and they can sign in. Anyone with the password can read the mailbox, so don't reuse a password from another service.
