Can I Send Emails with Temp Mail?

Mail.td is a receive-only service. You can receive emails at your temp mail address, but you cannot send emails from it.

Why no sending?

Outbound email requires a trusted sending reputation. Shared sending infrastructure is quickly flagged as spam, which would make any emails sent from Mail.td unreliable or undeliverable. To keep inbound delivery fast and reliable, Mail.td focuses on receiving only.

If you need to send emails

Use a dedicated email provider (Gmail, Outlook, or a transactional email service like SendGrid or AWS SES) for any outbound communication.

Not currently. You can manually copy or download messages within the retention window and forward them through your regular email client.

Should I use temp mail with services that don't allow disposable addresses?

If a service's terms of service prohibit disposable email, follow those terms — use a regular address there. Temp mail is intended for signups that explicitly allow disposable email: newsletters, free trials, one-time downloads, and similar low-stakes use.

Can I send myself a test email to a temp mailbox?

Yes — that's a common testing pattern. Send from any normal email account to the temp address, and the message appears in the inbox in a few seconds.
