The free plan covers everything most people need:
- Create as many temp mail addresses as you need (within fair-use)
- Up to 1 day email retention
- Password-protected inboxes (cross-device login)
- 40 MB storage per mailbox
- 500 API operations per month (covers address creation, message access, etc.)
When you might want Pro
Pro at $5/month makes sense if you need any of these:
- Email retention extended to up to 7 days (Free is 1 day)
- A custom domain so you can use your own brand for temp mail
- Higher API throughput (100,000 operations per month vs 500)
- Signed webhooks for real-time email notifications in apps or test pipelines
- API tokens for automation
If you don't recognize any of those needs, the Free plan is enough.
